Data playgrounds for your builders.
Loony gives your teams safe data playgrounds on your infrastructure. Your team connects any API, their coding agents can start building pipelines and data apps.
Stop gatekeeping data access. Loony gives your team safe, sandboxed playgrounds their coding agents can query directly.
Platform
What you get.
Data pipelines your agent can build
Describe what you need. Your AI agent writes the scripts and SQL. Loony validates, deploys, and runs it on a schedule.
Learn moreSkills for your stack
Your data team publishes skills that encode auth, pagination, rate limits, and schema for each tool. Every agent in your org follows the same patterns.
Learn moreSandboxed environments
Every team member gets their own isolated database on Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks. Production untouched.
Learn moreGovernance on every deploy
Naming conventions, validation rules, approved sources. Loony checks schema, types, and keys before anything goes live.
Learn moreZero hallucinations
A semantic layer defines measures, dimensions, and descriptions for every table. Agents query structured metadata, not raw columns. Read-only by design.
Learn moreData sources
Build skills for your tools. Give your team safe access to any data source.
Your team gets access. Your data team stays in control.
We can help you create skills for the tools your business runs on. .

How it works.
Before
- 1.
PM needs Stripe revenue joined with Zendesk tickets
- 2.
Files a ticket with the data team
- 3.
Waits for prioritization
- 4.
Gets it in 2-3 weeks
After
- 1.
PM describes what they need to their AI agent
- 2.
Agent follows org skills, connects the tools, builds the pipeline

Loony validates and deploys to their sandbox

FAQ
Common questions.
How does Loony fit with our existing data stack?
Loony runs alongside your current setup. Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, whatever you have. It doesn’t replace anything. It gives the rest of your team a way to self-serve without touching production.
Where does the data live?
On your infrastructure. Connect your existing Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks. Or use Loony’s managed Postgres.
What stops someone from breaking something?
Every deploy passes validation. Schema, types, primary keys. Each team member works in their own sandbox. Org-level skills enforce your conventions. Full audit trail on every run.
Do my team members need to be technical?
They need access to a code agent. Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex. They describe what they want in plain language. The agent does the rest.
What if the AI gets it wrong?
The agent follows your org’s skills, not freestyling. Validation catches errors before deploy. All query endpoints are read-only. If a query hits the wrong table, the error tells the agent what’s available.
Can I visualize the data?
Yes. Your Loony database is standard Postgres — connect any BI tool directly. Metabase, Grafana, Lightdash, Looker, Superset, or whatever your team already uses. Run ‘loony connect’ to get the connection string.
How is this different from Retool / Supabase / Airflow?
Retool is great for internal tools and admin panels. Supabase gives you a database. Airflow orchestrates jobs. Loony is production data infrastructure: extraction, transforms, scheduling, semantic layer, and API endpoints — all on a managed Postgres you own. Governed by your org’s rules.
